Pulse until the mixture is finely chopped and well combined. 2 ) In a small saucepan, heat the almond butter or peanut butter and honey or maple syrup over low heat until melted and smooth. 3 ) Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. 4 ) Pour the melted almond butter or peanut butter mixture over the dry ingredients in the food processor.
