About our Superfruit Strawberry:
The garden strawberry, also known as Fragaria ananassa, is a popular fruit cultivated worldwide for its aroma, red color, juiciness, and sweetness. It is consumed fresh or used in various prepared foods like jam, juice, pies, ice cream, and chocolates. Artificial strawberry flavorings are also widely used in products like candy, soap, and perfume.
Eating strawberries every day is generally safe for most people, but those with allergies to similar fruits may experience allergic reactions. However, these reactions are more likely to be a food intolerance rather than a typical allergy. People sensitive to salicylates may also experience symptoms like headaches or digestive issues due to the natural salicylate content in strawberries. However, for the majority of people, strawberries are a safe and enjoyable addition to a healthy diet. If you have known sensitivities, it is recommended to consult with a healthcare provider or registered dietitian before consuming strawberries regularly.
